The Company

Signal Technology Labs is a certified, small business serving the electronics industry with over 30 years of experience. We began selling reconditioned oscilloscopes on ebay in 2003. Our newest product release is the JamExpand™ technology which upgrades the memory capabilities of the classic Lexicon JamMan®. This technology was developed by an electronics engineer and owner of the company.

Warranty

Each unit comes with a 30 day limited warranty. The tamper resistant labels must remain intact or the warranty is voided. Any disassembly of the unit will void the warranty and negate any seller responsibility for repair and/or replacement under the limited warranty. Any damage resulting from use of incorrect power supplies (i.e., non- 9VAC wall-warts) is also not covered under the limited warranty.

Cautions / Warnings

When connecting and disconnecting the unit be careful not to inject a static discharge into the unit (static electricity is more likely in dry, cooler conditions as you walk across carpet, etc.). Electronic components are static sensitive devices and can be rendered inoperative with static discharges.

  1. Retrofit kits available?

    We do not sell retrofit kits because of the risks involved and technical savvy required to make the upgrade. We prefer to upgrade units to ensure 100% satisfaction and minimize problems. If you have a unit you would like upgraded, please email us for current pricing and availability. From time to time, we also sell upgraded units on eBay.  

  1. Can one still use analog footswitches like with the original JamMan®?

    Yes, we have provided similar capabilities for analog footswitch control as offered in the original JamMan®. However, please note, an analog footswitch provides EXTREMELY limited control of the JamMan®. In addition, nowadays, the cost of two good analog footswitches becomes very close to a low cost MIDI footswitch controller. This suggests using a low cost MIDI footswitch controller, which we recommend. Please see our MIDI controller page and the JamExpand™ MIDI commands.

Midi Controllers

We currently recommend and offer package deals including the RFX/ ROLLS models MIDI WIZARD (MP1288) or MIDIBUDDY (MP128P) controllers. These are small, reliable, low cost MIDI controllers which can provide complete remote of the JamExpand™ equipped JamMan®. All of JamMan's® real-time controls can be remotely activated via footswitch or MIDI. Two dual-function footswitches give complete hands-free control over every front panel function. Front panel controls can also be accessed via MIDI Program Change messages. A MIDI foot controller is highly recommended for optimum performance.
